As
part of our long-standing relationship with Rolls-Royce in designing, developing and
delivering training for Robust Design we often collaborate to write technical
papers to articulate our thoughts about certain topics of interest.

The
latest example of this symbiotic relationship is a co-authored paper that
discusses and demonstrates the various issues associated with 'Max Metal
Machining', the practice of trying to minimise scrap for high value metal
components by operating near to the appropriate specification limit.
The
paper has been submitted to the up-coming NAFEMS Conference in June.
