Six Sigma Approach
Six Sigma improvement is about taking existing products and processes and improving them. It is an extremely powerful approach to organisational improvement which is achieved by being:
- Systematic and disciplined
- Data driven
- Project based (improvement through teams)
- Customer focused (internal and external)
Success, however, is dependent on how it is introduced into an organisation. Part of that introduction is the determination of a suitable infrastructure that supports the running of Six Sigma improvement projects.
