IQA Conference 2005
Wednesday 16 March 2005 11:58 AM
The Annual QA Professional Update organised by the South East Regional Advisory Committee of the Institute of Quality Assurance took place on 16 March 2005 at the prestigious premises of the Society for Chemical Industry in Belgrave Square, London. Amongst the guest speakers was Stephen Walsh, one of The Six Sigma Group Directors, who was invited to address the members. The presentation was noteable in its lively and participative approach that got everyone in the audience involved. Stephen spoke about the ‘softer’ stuff of Six Sigma, explaining how clever data and plots will be ineffective unless people are involved and motivated to create and accept change (see article - ‘Don’t forget the softer side of Six Sigma!’).
