2-day Champion Training
Six Sigma Champion Training
Six Sigma Champions play a crucial role in Six Sigma process improvement. They ensure that projects are suitable and are aligned to the strategic objectives of the business. They act as sponsors for projects and also monitor progress which will ultimately yield:
- millions of pounds savings
- reduced process cycle times
- improved quality
- increased customer and supplier benefits
Who should attend this course? Directors or Senior Managers.
What will attendees take away? They will:
- Have a good understanding of the Six Sigma approach and process
- Be able to identify, select and communicate suitable Six Sigma projects that will yield maximum benefit to the company
- Understand clearly their roles and responsibilities in supporting, delivering and reviewing projects
Champion Training comprises a 2-day workshop based around the DMAICT (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control and Transfer) Improvement Process. The first day uses an interactive simulation to provide overview of the DMAICT process and how it can benefit a business. The second day concentrates on the role of a Champion and the process for selecting projects. It also describes the characteristics of a good Six Sigma project. The responsibility and approach to monitoring projects is covered and there is time allocated for individual discussion of suitable projects.
Variants on the above can be tailored to suit your organisation's requirement.
